The story to this piece is rather funny honestly. I was in a mode of writer's block and my professor told me that our wind ensemble would be recording soon and he needed a piece from me. I of course said I had a piece ready and he planned on doing the recording the next day. And so...I wrote. Hurry comes from a place of play and fun in my heart. Hurry is a fast pace, whimsical thrill ride. From the very first chord to the last stinger, Hurry is a piece that all young musician will enjoy.
