Freyr of the Vanir tribe was a Norse god of peace and prosperity. A deity associated with masculinity, sunshine, and fair weather, he was the son of the sea god Njord and twin brother of Freya.
With this piece, we follow a rain droplet summoned by the god and its journey from vapor to liquid to a storm and finally back to the god. The piece surrounds itself with a small motif that goes from an overlapping melody to a hectic storm dance.
