OBLIVION takes the idea of darkness and the harsh reality of the chaos while blending with moments of beauty and regality to create an environment made of the unknown and the uncertain. This piece revolves around a theme that while beautiful is surrounded by hectic rhythms and dissonance. Throughout the piece the moments of regality are met with moments of passion- like a mix of blood and wine. The piece ends with uncertainty but with courage as the performers and listeners may face many factors...and perhaps in the future...extinction.
